ADECON launches a new service: periodic ISO-tank inspections with full compliance
We have successfully conducted our first technical inspection of an ISO tank container at our container terminal in Dębe - meeting all international standards for the transport of dangerous and specialized goods.
What are ISO-tank inspections and why are they so important?
- According to international regulations (including RID/ADR and IMDG), each tank container must undergo mandatory technical inspections:
- Every 2.5 years – Intermediate Inspection
- Every 5 years – Periodic Inspection
From now on, ADECON is proud to be one of the few depots in Poland to offer the full range of these services.
How do we do it?
Inspections are carried out in cooperation with Bureau Veritas – one of the few certification bodies with full international accreditation and technical expertise. ADECON provides depot infrastructure and acts as the direct service provider – managing the entire operation on behalf of the customer. We are ready to perform both 2.5-year and 5-year inspections.
What else do we offer?
- Pre-inspection check – performed before the official inspection, it helps detect potential issues or non-conformities in advance.
- On-site repair and servicing – carried out (with the customer’s approval) without the need to move the tank to another location.
- Integrated tank cleaning service – everything in one place, saving both time and cost.
