Export of 700 pallets of animal feed to the USA – comprehensive organisation of air transport

The last few days have been marked by the intensive implementation of an export order for our American partner.

A total of 180 tonnes of goods (700 pallets) were transported by air to two locations in the United States. It was an operation that required precise coordination – from the first contact with the customer, through logistics planning, to delivery to the recipients. Each stage – from booking flights, through loading and preparing documents – was monitored on an ongoing basis.

• Goods collection spread over 3 days (22 lorries)
• Preparation of complete documentation for air transport
• Combination of road and ferry transport via the UK – reduced transit time
• Constant monitoring of statuses and quick response to any changes
• Effective communication between all links in the supply chain – from the loader, through our operational team, to the agent in the US and the airline.

There were some stressful moments – as is often the case in logistics – but thanks to quick response and partnership-based cooperation, everything was handled without delays.

It was an intense but very satisfying project for our AIR department.

We are ready for new challenges – and another 700 pallets or more.
