It has been classified as a Plant with an Increased Risk of a Serious Industrial Accident.

According to Art. 250. section [1] of the quoted Act, the Plant developed the Accident Prevention Program and submitted it to the relevant control authorities.

1. Plant characteristics

Adecon Sp. z o. o. is a logistics operator that mainly handles intermodal loads. It provides the highest quality services to customers around the world.

The processes defined as the activity of the Department can be divided as follows:

Delivery of goods to the plant, including dangerous ones,
accepting goods to the storage yard (depot) or to the warehouse and delivering them by internal transport (forklifts and reachstacker/heavy container truck/) to designated storage zones in warehouses,
loading goods using forklifts onto cars or containers dedicated to road transport for delivery to customers.

The plant is located within the administrative borders of the Kalisz District, in Żelazków commune, on plots no. 31/8, 31/9 and 31/10.

2. Chemical substances used in the plant that determine whether the plant as been classified as a plant with an increased risk of an industrial accident
In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Development of 29th January 2016, Journal of Laws Pos. 138 on the types and quantities of hazardous substances present in the plant, determining the classification of the plant to ZZR or ZDR, the Plant has been classified as a Plant with an Increased Risk of a Serious Industrial Accident due to the summing up of the amounts of substances in the following categories:

P - Physical hazards
E - Environmental hazards

3. Existing security systems

The plant analysed the process risk and security layers and implemented security measures:

Counteracting the course of emergency scenarios
Counteracting the effects of emergency scenarios
Counteracting effects of emergency scenarios

4. Information on how to warn and behave in the event of an industrial accident

If a situation that could indicate a failure has been observed in the plant or its surroundings, i.e.:

Smoke rising
Increased traffic of vehicles of rescue units
Hearing a message

You should (depending on the course of the event):

Keep calm
Comply with the messages issued by rescue teams and communicated to the media,
Close the windows of the apartment,
Do not approach the danger area,

While in the open air:

Observe wind direction and smoke movement
Leave the endangered area perpendicular to the direction of the wind and the wind moving with it

In case of evacuation:

Evacuate from the danger zone at the command of a person in charge of the rescue operation,
Leave the apartment or the area covered by the rescue operation,
Check if all household members (tenants) have left the apartment/area - Lock the apartment,
If possible, take with you only the necessary things, telephone, documents, keys to the apartment and the car.
