What is the Transport Cup 2026 and why are we taking part in it again?

Do you think it is possible to combine having fun with helping children in need? We will prove to you that it is. For the third time, we are taking part in the Transport Cup – a charity football tournament in Kalisz. And you can join in too! Today we’ll tell you what this enjoyable and noble initiative is all about, who it helps and how you can get involved.

What exactly is the Transport Cup?

The Transport Cup is a charity sports festival held every year in Kalisz. It combines a football tournament featuring company teams – mainly from the transport and logistics sectors (which is why we simply have to be there!) – with an all-day festival for the whole family. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come along.

The event is organised by the Kalisz-based transport and logistics company Siga Transport, whilst the CHOPS Foundation is responsible for the charity aspect and fundraising. The tournament takes place at the Municipal Stadium in Kalisz and is growing year on year – from a small event, it has become the region’s largest sports and family charity event.

The event is held under the patronage of the Mayor of Kalisz, and its significance is also recognised by the Polish Football Association.

The aim is twofold: to bring the local community together and to help children. Who are these children? They are mainly children and young people:

  • from poor or dysfunctional families,
  • who have experienced trauma, neglect or violence,
  • who need stability, a sense of security and a normal holiday/quality of life,
  • often from large foster families who themselves face financial challenges.

Since 2016, the CHOPS Foundation has been providing wide-ranging support (to the elderly, people in crisis, and children in after-school clubs), but in the context of the Transport Cup, it focuses specifically on foster care – both institutional and family-based

Admission to every edition of the Transport Cup – including the upcoming Transport Cup 2026 – is free for the public, so anyone can come along, cheer on the teams and support the fundraising effort.

Who does the Transport Cup help, and what has it achieved so far?

Each edition to date has raised over 100,000 zł for summer holidays and support for children in Kalisz’s children’s homes. This means that the two editions – the 2024 and 2025 ones – have raised a total of over 210,000 zł to help children!

See how the tournament has developed over the years:

  • 2024 – the first edition. Under the slogan “Transport Cup – give a smile for the summer holidays”, around 100,000 zł was raised for a holiday trip for children from the Kalisz Children’s Home.
  • 2025 – the second edition. Twenty company teams (including ours!) played at the Municipal Stadium, and the total raised once again exceeded 100,000 zł. The Sun Sport travel agency helped organise the children’s summer holiday trip.
  • 2026 – third edition. On 20 June, we’ll be playing for Family Children’s Homes and supporting the idea of foster families. Be sure to join us there!

What’s in store for participants and supporters of the Transport Cup 2026?

The next edition will take place on 20 June 2026 at the Municipal Stadium in Kalisz, 19–29 Łódzka Street.

Twenty company teams will compete on the pitch. The tournament is amateur and community-focused – what counts is a good atmosphere and playing in the spirit of fair play, rather than winning at all costs.

The organisers have also prepared a special surprise for us! An exhibition match featuring some stars! The line-up includes:

  1. Michał Listkiewicz – former president of the Polish Football Association (PZPN), FIFA referee.
  2. Krzysztof “Diablo” Włodarczyk – WBC and IBF world boxing champion.
  3. Jacek Krzynówek – 96-cap Polish international, Bundesliga star.
  4. Marek Citko – a legend of Polish football (famous goal at Wembley).
  5. Rafał Mroczek – actor, active player for the Polish Artists’ National Team.
  6. Bilguun Ariunbaatar – presenter, showman.
  7. Wojciech Sikora – actor (including “Policjantki i Policjanci” and “Listy do M.”).
  8. Grzegorz Collins – TV personality, motoring.
  9. Grzegorz “Gabor” Jędrzejewski – football pundit, Canal+.
  10. Bartosz “Turbokozak” Ignacik – hugely popular online and amongst fans.

And what about beyond football? There’s plenty going on:

  • meet-and-greets with sports and TV stars
  • a stage featuring concerts and artistic performances (with acts such as Gangsters Rock),
  • a children’s play area: inflatables, entertainment, a foam party and face painting,
  • a motoring zone and a well-stocked street food area,
  • an evening charity banquet at the Komoda Club.

Why is ADECON taking part in the Transport Cup for the third time?

We take helping others just as seriously as we do logistics. Taking part in the Transport Cup is a natural choice for us – the tournament has its roots in our industry and links it to something that forms part of ADECON’s philosophy: helping others.

We’ve been doing this for years. Since 2020, we’ve been supporting local sports clubs, Szlachetna Paczka and the traveller Michał Woroch. Over time, these activities have formed a coherent strategy of corporate social responsibility (CSR), which we strive to uphold every day. We also actively promote this approach amongst other companies, believing that charitable activities should be spoken about openly, by setting an example.

Just before last Christmas, instead of spending our budget on corporate Christmas gifts, we unanimously decided to allocate it to supporting Little Heroes – children undergoing cancer treatment. After all, there are important things and things that are even more important! This is how ADECON supports and encourages others to do the same.

That’s why, on 20 June, we’ll be back in Kalisz – with our team on the pitch and our hearts with the children.
