ADECON on the road: A summary of our trade fair visits so far in 2026

For us, 2026 is a year of growth and… packing our bags! In logistics and freight forwarding, nothing is more valuable than human relationships. Even the best IT systems cannot replace a handshake or a face-to-face conversation. That’s why we set off into the world to meet our partners and clients. So where have we been? Join us for a recap of our trade fair tour!

Which events did we attend?

We travelled from Europe all the way to South America and Asia. Each of these events had its own unique character and industry, but always the same goal: to be closer to the market’s needs. Here is a list of the places we have visited so far this year.

1. Congress of Expansive Exporters (Warsaw) – 15 January 2026

We kicked off this year’s trade fair adventures in the very heart of Poland. The New Year is the perfect time to plan for expansion, which is why in mid-January we supported Polish companies in building secure and efficient supply chains for foreign markets. A good start is essential!

2. BUDMA (Poznań) – 3–6 February 2026

At the start of February, we moved to Poznań for the largest construction trade fair in Central and Eastern Europe. The construction industry faces challenges related to oversized transport and meeting deadlines. Our presence at BUDMA allowed us to update our knowledge of the needs of building materials manufacturers.

3. Fruit Logistica (Berlin) – 4–6 February 2026

Some time ago, we announced that we would be taking part. It is a major event for the fresh fruit and vegetable sector. At this trade fair, you can discover the latest trends in cold chain (reefer) logistics. We were represented there by our experts – Adam Cozaś and Dariusz Marczak.

What are our impressions? The trip to Berlin proved to be a great success from both an operational and analytical (pricing!) perspective. As our team notes:

‘Some serious operational issues arose regarding apple shipments, which we were able to discuss in person with the shipowners present on site and put appropriate pressure on them. Additionally, we were able to join forces with other freight forwarders on site, which greatly helped in resolving the situation’.

We also established relationships with decision-makers at the shipping lines’ headquarters. Our presence at the trade fair allowed us to meet clients face-to-face, learn about their plans and needs, particularly regarding the export of apples and blueberries.

4. BIOFACH (Nuremberg) – 10–13 February 2026

Shortly afterwards, we moved on to Nuremberg for the leading event dedicated to organic food. This is where healthy food producers looking for reliable supply systems come together. The fair was full of meetings with companies that regularly ship refrigerated containers.

5. Meble Polska Fair (Poznań) – 24–26 February 2026

At the end of February, we visited Poznań once again. We met representatives of the Polish furniture industry.

What did we gain from this? We secured contacts with companies aiming for global expansion.

6. 15th WCA Global (Singapore) – 9–13 March 2026

In March, our team travelled to Asia for one of the most important networking events for the freight forwarding industry, which is why we had been preparing for it since January.

Meetings within the WCA association allow us to expand our network of trusted agents worldwide, as the event brings together thousands of logistics specialists from all over the world.

7th PBLA Global Network Meeting and Premier Bulk Liquids Alliance (Madrid) – 17–19 March 2026

In mid-March, we travelled to Spain. The Premier Bulk Liquids Alliance conference is a gathering of professionals specialising in the challenging transport of liquid materials. There, we gained knowledge that pays dividends in the safety of our clients’ cargo.

8. Combined Logistics Networks – CLN (Kuala Lumpur) – 22–25 March 2026

From Madrid, we quickly returned to Asia to take part in the 6th Annual Partnership Meeting organised by CLN. This is a major event bringing together independent freight forwarders.

Our takeaways from the trip: The conference in Kuala Lumpur was incredibly dynamic. Open networking and a willingness to share business opportunities paid off – we secured valuable contacts that are already yielding our first orders.

9. Fensterbau Frontale (Nuremberg) – 24–27 March 2026

Keeping an eye on European markets, we visited the world’s leading trade fair for windows, doors and façades. Exporting joinery presents a logistical challenge requiring special security measures and careful handling of the cargo, a topic we discussed at length with manufacturers on site.

10. Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2026 (Bologna) – 26–29 March 2026

We rounded off March with a trip to Italy for the cosmetics trade fair. Brands present at the fair included ORLY International (the king of manicures), Annemarie Börlind (a leading German natural cosmetics brand) and Passage Cosmetics Laboratory (a major Polish contract manufacturer producing cosmetics for many well-known brands). And we had the chance to speak with them.

11. WTT-Expo 2026 (Düsseldorf) – 13–17 April 2026

We kicked off the spring with a technological bang in Germany, focusing on the industrial and chemical engineering sectors, where freight forwarding does not tolerate even the slightest errors or delays. Here, we were able to deepen our knowledge of, for example, the transport of dangerous goods.

12. WorldFood Poland (Warsaw) – 14–16 April 2026

In parallel with our activities in Germany and South America, some of us were keeping an eye on the Polish food market. WorldFood in Warsaw is an indispensable venue for meeting local producers with whom we are planning further global shipments.

13. Intermodal South America 2026 (Brazil) – 14–16 April 2026

One of the most important and exciting trips of the year. Anyone serious about the Latin American market simply must attend the Intermodal trade fair in São Paulo.

How were we received overseas? It was an incredible experience! We clearly noticed that the ADECON brand is going from strength to strength. As our representatives there reported:

‘We are already a recognisable company. People come to us of their own accord and return to talk to us’.

Although Poland is not a major exporter to Brazil, our offering based on German ports is generating significant interest. The best proof? The first order came in immediately after the fair ended.

14. Twig Talk 2026 (Playa del Carmen) – 4–9 May 2026

In early May, we joined forces with agents during a networking event in Mexico. Twig meetings are an opportunity to network and build business with partners operating logistics routes across the Americas.

15. Chemspec Europe (Cologne) – 6–7 May 2026

The chemical industry (including ADR transport) is our daily bread, but we still keep our finger on the pulse. In Cologne, we gained an even better understanding of the needs of manufacturers of specialist chemical products.

Where will we be?

Would you like to meet us? In that case, here is our schedule for the rest of 2026.

1. ChemTEC Poland (Warsaw) – 19–21 May 2026

We will conclude our May tour of the world of chemistry in Warsaw, comparing European trends with the specific needs of the Polish chemical industry.

2. Battery Forum Poland (Warsaw) – 26–28 May 2026

The future belongs to electromobility, and we are playing an active part in it. At the end of May, at the Battery Forum, we will analyse the specific logistical requirements for the storage and transport of battery cells.

3. The Battery Show Europe (Stuttgart) – 9–11 June 2026

Our interest in the power supply sector will take us to Europe’s largest event dedicated to battery technologies and electric vehicles. This is where engineers, business leaders and innovators come together to shape the future of e-mobility.

Why will we be there? The transport of lithium-ion batteries requires strict compliance with safety standards and precise transport conditions. Attending The Battery Show will allow us to:

  1. Discover the latest energy storage systems.
  2. Establish contacts with cell and component manufacturers seeking partners capable of managing such a demanding cargo.
  3. Adapt our fleet and procedures to upcoming regulations.

4. Energy Storage Summit Germany (Stuttgart) – 9–11 June 2026

During the same visit to Stuttgart, we will explore the growing energy storage market. The development of renewable energy sources demands an innovative approach to freight forwarding – and we offer that approach.

5. BREAKBULK (Rotterdam) – 16–18 June 2026

Breakbulk Europe is a celebration of heavy and project cargo transport. It will enable us to establish relationships with owners of multi-purpose vessels and operators of specialist port terminals.

6. Battery Recycling Conference & Expo (Frankfurt) – 17–18 June 2026

Responsible transport also involves reverse logistics. In Frankfurt, we will explore how freight forwarding can support the circular economy and safely transport used lithium batteries.

7. ees Europe / The smarter E EU (Munich) – 23–25 June 2026

We will round off the half-year at the trade fair in Munich, where we gathered insights into supply chains for the renewable energy sector.

8. Chillventa (Nuremberg) – 15 October 2026

In the autumn, we will return to Nuremberg. The Chillventa trade fair is the global hub for refrigeration and air conditioning technology. It will help us keep up with the latest solutions in the field of temperature control.

9. HTFN Conference (Bangkok) – 9–13 November 2026

We have one more trip abroad to look forward to at the end of the year. In Bangkok, we will strengthen our ties with the HTFN agent network, as our partners in Asia guarantee the safety of our clients’ goods heading to the Far East.

10. POLFISH (Gdańsk) – 9–11 November 2026

We will conclude this year’s travels in Gdańsk. The fish industry always presents a demanding test of the efficiency of frozen and chilled transport. A visit to POLFISH will help us meet the requirements of this demanding transport sector.

Will we meet at the next trade fair? Be sure to let us know if you’ll be attending any of them!
